That's right, its story time! The best content you can ever give your audience is a story. Humans inherently love listening to stories. So what exactly is a story? Its an in depth description of a series of events. Let's look at an example of how this is incorporated into rap form:

NOTICE HOW THEIR TONES HELPS TO TELL THE STORY? BODY MOTIONS AND FACIAL EXPRESSIONS CAN HELP AS WELL...

The best way to practice storytelling is by first practicing describing an object. This is where your metaphors, similes, and personification come into play. Pick an object in the room, and freestyle about it for as long as you possibly can. You'll notice that the more detailed you are, the more you have to say about that object, and the longer you can go. Note: Rhyming at this point should be automatic for you so don't worry about it too much, it should just happen naturally.

Next, look out your window. Do the same exercise but with what you see. Instead of describing objects, describe events as you see them happening. Remember to keep the same level of detail.

Now, pick one of your strongest memories. Close your eyes and try visualizing that memory. Now describe what you 'see' in freestyle form. It's at this point where there is probably a story associated with that memory. If so, tell that story remembering to keep the same level of detail.

Lastly, for the leap of faith. This time pick a random word, any word will do. Close your eyes, and think about that word. What comes to mind? What images do you see? Is there a story connecting the images? Describe it. Once you've mastered this then try it with your eyes open.

BAMM. Just like that you can tell a story about absolutely anything at all. If you're struggling to stay on topic, be more descriptive about your story.
